To check if PlayStation Network is down, go to status.playstation.com. This is Sony's official PSN status page and shows the current status of all PlayStation services in real time including PlayStation Network, PlayStation Store, PlayStation Video, and more. A green indicator means the service is running normally. A yellow indicator means the service is experiencing issues. A red indicator means the service is down. You can also check on your PS5 directly by going to Settings → Network → View PlayStation Network Status — this opens the status page in the console browser. If PSN is down there is nothing you can do on your end — wait for Sony to resolve the issue. For live outage reports from other users you can also check Downdetector.
