To add funds to your Nintendo eShop account there are two main methods. On Nintendo Switch: open the Nintendo eShop from the home screen, select your account, click your profile icon or balance in the top-right corner and select Add Funds. Choose to pay by credit or debit card or select Use a Nintendo eShop Card to redeem a prepaid code. On a web browser (PC, phone, or tablet): go to accounts.nintendo.com, sign in, go to Store → Funds and Payment Methods → Add Funds and choose your payment method. To redeem a Nintendo eShop gift card or wallet code, go to ec.nintendo.com/redeem, sign in, enter your 16-character code and click Redeem — funds are added to your balance instantly. Important things to know:
Funds are region specific — make sure the gift card matches your Nintendo Account region
eShop funds cannot be refunded once added to your account
Funds do not expire once redeemed
Your balance cannot be transferred to another Nintendo Account
