To create a PSN account, go to playstation.com and click Sign In then Create a New Account. Enter your email address, create a password, and fill in your date of birth and country. Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox. Once verified, you'll be prompted to create your PSN Online ID (your gamertag) — choose carefully as your first change is free but subsequent changes may affect your profile. You can also create a PSN account directly on your PS5 or PS4 by going to Settings → Users and Accounts → Add User → Create a New PlayStation Network account and following the on-screen steps. Important: make sure you set your account to the correct country and region during setup — this cannot be changed later and determines which PSN Store you have access to, including which voucher codes and wallet funds are compatible with your account. Once your account is set up, redeem PSN wallet codes and game vouchers.
