What does Restore Licenses do on PlayStation?

Restore Licenses re-syncs your content entitlements with PlayStation's servers. It verifies all the games, DLC, and subscriptions your account owns and updates your console's local license data accordingly. It does not delete your saves, screenshots, or installed game files. It can take a few minutes on large libraries. On PS5: Settings → Users and Accounts → Other → Restore Licenses. On PS4: Settings → Account Management → Restore Licenses. Restart your console after the process completes.
