Not sure how much credit is left in your Nintendo eShop account? Here's how to check your balance on your Nintendo Switch console and on a web browser from any device.

You can also check your Nintendo eShop balance from any web browser without needing your Switch:

1. Go to accounts.nintendo.com and sign in
2. Select Shop Menu or Funds and Payment Methods
3. Your current balance is displayed under Nintendo eShop Funds

Good to Know

• Balance is region specific — your eShop balance is tied to your Nintendo Account's country setting. If you change your account region, your existing balance stays in the original region's currency and cannot be carried over.
• Balance does not expire — once funds are added to your Nintendo Account they never expire.
• Balance cannot be transferred — eShop funds are permanently tied to the account that received them and cannot be moved to another Nintendo Account.
• Maximum balance is $200 (or equivalent in your local currency) — you cannot add funds if your balance is already at or near the maximum.
• You cannot check an unredeemed card's balance — Nintendo gift cards can only be checked by redeeming them. There is no way to view the value of an unused card without redeeming the code.
