Just got an Epic Games code and not sure how to redeem it? Here are both methods — through the Epic Games Launcher on your PC and through the web browser from any device.
Method 1: Epic Games Launcher (Recommended)
Redeem your code in the Epic Games Launcher

Open the Epic Games Launcher on your PC and make sure you're logged into your Epic Games account.

Click your profile icon or username in the top-right corner of the launcher to open the account menu.

Click Redeem Code from the dropdown menu.

Enter your code in the field and click Redeem. You should receive a confirmation message that the code was successfully redeemed. Click Back to Home to return to the launcher.

Your game will now appear in your Library. Click the game and select Install to download it.
Method 2: Web Browser (Works on Any Device)
Redeem your code on the Epic Games Store website

Open any browser and go to store.epicgames.com/redeem — or go to store.epicgames.com and sign in.

Hover over your username in the top-right corner and click Redeem Code from the dropdown.

Enter your code and click Redeem. You'll receive a confirmation that the code was successfully redeemed. The game will now be available in your Epic Games Launcher Library ready to install.
Important Things to Know
- Make sure you're on the right account — once a code is redeemed it cannot be moved to a different account. Always check you're signed into the correct Epic Games account before redeeming.
- Some codes are region locked — Epic Games codes may be restricted to certain countries. If you get an error about your region, the code is not compatible with your account's country setting.
