FH6 Wheelspin & Super Wheelspin Guide — The Subaru 22B + Revuelto Methods (Maximize Drops)

5 min read

There are two methods worth knowing for farming Super Wheelspins in FH6. Both use the Spinball Wizard Car Mastery perk — the instant Super Wheelspin you get for spending Skill Points on a qualifying car. The Subaru Impreza 22B-STi is the cheap self-sustaining meta. The Lamborghini Revuelto is the premium variety option with better raw payout. Here's how each method works, the math behind both, and when to use which.
Quick Honest Framing First
FH6 reduced Wheelspin supply across the board vs FH5. Standard spins drop roughly once every 3 driver levels. Super Wheelspins gate behind milestones and Car Mastery perks. The legendary car drop rate sits around 2-3% per Super Wheelspin — anyone selling "guaranteed hypercar wheelspin farm" content is misleading. Play the volume game, not the lucky-strike game.
What Spinball Wizard Actually Is
Spinball Wizard is the official in-game name of a Car Mastery perk that grants you an instant Super Wheelspin the moment you unlock it. It sits in the top row of the Car Mastery tree on over 100 specific cars — mostly treasure cars, barn finds, and Forza Edition cars.
The loop is simple: open the qualifying car's Car Mastery menu, spend Skill Points climbing the tree to the Spinball Wizard node, unlock it, claim the Super Wheelspin. No race required, no daily reset, no waiting. You can spin it immediately from your collection. Both methods below use this same Car Mastery system — they just use different cars to do it.
METHOD 1 — Subaru Impreza 22B-STi Version (The Meta)
The 1998 Subaru Impreza 22B-STi Version is the community-favorite Spinball Wizard car. ~30 Skill Points unlocks Spinball Wizard for an instant Super Wheelspin at just 86,000 credits from the Autoshow. That's the cheapest entry point of any Spinball Wizard car in the game.
Why it's the meta — the self-sustaining loop. The 22B already carries the 9x Multi Maxer skill chain multiplier (see our Skill Chain Guide). This means the SAME car you spend SP on can REFILL the SP you just spent. Drive it after each unlock, farm chains, recharge, repeat. No other Spinball Wizard car combines high-multiplier skill farming AND the Spinball Wizard perk in one package — that's the killer feature.
The Subaru 22B Loop — Step by Step
1. Buy the Subaru Impreza 22B-STi Version from the Autoshow for 86,000 CR. Keep at least one permanently as your dedicated skill-farming car.
2. Open the Car Mastery menu and route through the cheaper path (go right first, then up — saves you 2 SP vs going straight up). Total unlock cost: roughly 30 SP.
3. Claim the Super Wheelspin the moment you reach the Spinball Wizard node. It lands in your collection instantly.
4. Farm SP back via skill chains. Drive the 22B at Shimanoyama south rice paddies or the bamboo forest. The 9x Multi Maxer multiplier gets you back to 30 SP quickly. Each chain caps at 10 SP, so plan 3-4 chains per cycle.
5. Buy a fresh Subaru 22B and repeat — OR sell the unlocked one at the Auction House for partial credit recoup before buying another. Some players keep multiple 22Bs and rotate through them.
METHOD 2 — 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto (Premium Variety)
The 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto is the premium alternative. 39 SP unlocks not just Spinball Wizard but also THREE regular Wheelspins on the path to it — meaning your total payout per unlock is 3 Wheelspins + 1 Super Wheelspin. Better raw output per SP than the Subaru.
The catch: 365,000 CR from the Autoshow. That's 4.2x the cost of the Subaru 22B. The Revuelto doesn't carry the 9x Multi Maxer perk, so you can't self-sustain SP the way the 22B does — you'll need to farm SP in your Subaru first, then spend it on the Revuelto. This is why it's the variety option rather than the primary.
The Revuelto loop: buy the Revuelto, unlock all 4 spins (3 regular + 1 Super) for 39 SP, claim everything, sell at Auction House. Recoup typically 40-60% of buy price depending on weekly demand. Net cost per cycle lands around 100K-200K CR.
When to run Revuelto: when you've built a credit reserve and want better raw spin output per session. Also great if you're already credit-rich from credit farming and want to convert credits to Wheelspins faster.
Subaru vs Revuelto — Quick Math
Subaru 22B-STi: 30 SP → 1 Super Wheelspin · 86K CR · self-sustaining via 9x multiplier · cheap repeat loop · the daily driver method.
Lamborghini Revuelto: 39 SP → 3 Wheelspins + 1 Super Wheelspin · 365K CR · NOT self-sustaining · premium output · the variety method.
Per-SP output: Subaru gets 1 Super per 30 SP. Revuelto gets 1 Super + 3 regular per 39 SP — better raw if you count all 4 spins. Per-credit: Subaru wins by a wide margin.
Practical play: Subaru as your daily driver, Revuelto when you have credits to burn. Most players run roughly 80% Subaru / 20% Revuelto.
The Bottom Line
Subaru 22B-STi is the meta because of the self-sustaining loop — same car spends AND refills SP. Lamborghini Revuelto is the variety option for better raw payout per cycle. Both use the Spinball Wizard Car Mastery perk. Run Subaru as your daily driver, Revuelto when you have credits to burn.
Expect 2-3% legendary car drops from any Super Wheelspin — credits and cosmetics are what pay the bills.
