Forza Horizon 6's Series 1 "Welcome to Japan" content drop is live — 10 Festival Playlist reward cars + 4 Car Pass DLC drops = 14 new cars across May 21 - June 18. Festival Playlist cars unlock by earning points through challenges. Car Pass cars drop weekly to anyone holding the Car Pass (included with Deluxe / Premium / Premium Upgrade). Here's every car, the points or drop date, and the exact unlock windows.

Festival Playlist Reward Cars (10) — Earn Points to Unlock
2008 Mazda Furai — 60 PTS Series Total (May 21 – June 18)

The Series History Reward — earn 60 PTS during the full Series 1 window and the Furai is yours. 3-rotor Wankel, 450 horsepower, ethanol-powered. Originally a 2008 concept car built to maximize grip and air flow.

Furai means "sound of the wind." Drive it across Japan's touge passes and you'll understand why this is the headline car of Series 1.

2010 Nissan 370Z — 120 PTS Series Total (May 21 – June 18)

The second Series-total reward. 3.7L V6, 332 bhp, 0-60 in 4.7 seconds, quarter mile in 13.3. Lighter and quicker than the 350Z it replaced.

Real JDM royalty — the Z badge carries 50+ years of Japanese sports car heritage. 120 PTS is the bigger grind, but if you're playing daily through Series 1 you'll hit it easily.

1999 Toyota Altezza RS200 Z Edition — 20 PTS Summer Season (May 21 – May 28)

The car that named a generation of taillights. 2.0L inline-4, 207 hp, rear-wheel drive — the JDM tuner staple known for engine swaps and widebody kits.

Cheapest unlock in the series at just 20 PTS. Grab it in the first week or wait for it to cycle back via Aftermarket Cars later.

2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR — 40 PTS Summer Season (May 21 – May 28)

Rally racing pedigree in road-car form. 2.0L turbo 4-cyl, 286 bhp, AWD — agile, grippy, perfect for Japan's twisting touge routes.

The iconic Evo rear wing returns. One of the most respected JDM platforms ever made. Don't skip this Summer Season unlock.

1997 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R33) — 20 PTS Autumn Season (May 28 – June 4)

The R33 GT-R V-Spec. Twin-turbo 2.6L straight-six, ATTESA AWD, Super HICAS four-wheel steering. The Skyline that gets called "the perfect GT-R" by R33 loyalists.

Only 20 PTS in Autumn Season. Combined with the R32 BNR32 from Car Pass and a possible R34 V-Spec II via other means, you can build a full Skyline GT-R lineage garage from Series 1.

1991 Honda CR-X SiR — 40 PTS Autumn Season (May 28 – June 4)

One of Honda's most fun-to-drive cars ever made. 1.6L DOHC, lightweight chassis, razor-sharp steering.

The CR-X SiR is a B-class touge weapon — exactly the kind of car Japan's mountain passes were built to humiliate. Cheap to unlock, expensive to leave alone.

2019 Subaru STI S209 — 20 PTS Winter Season (June 4 – June 11)

The most powerful Subaru WRX STI ever sold. Flat-four 2.5L, 341 hp, 330 lb-ft, with Bilstein dampers, Dunlop tires, and an adjustable wing.

A US-market exclusive in real life, available here for 20 PTS. Don't sleep on Winter Season — the S209 is a cult car among Subaru fans.

2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37 — 40 PTS Winter Season (June 4 – June 11)

The off-road oddball of Series 1. Icelandic-spec Land Cruiser with modified arches, body, and frame for tackling any surface.

Perfect for FH6's dirt sections, off-road trails, and the snowy Mt. Fuji elevation zones. The "I just want to climb everything" pick.

1996 Toyota Starlet Glanza V — 20 PTS Spring Season (June 11 – June 18)

The cult JDM hot hatch JDM fans hunt globally. 1.3L turbocharged 4-cyl, 115 hp, FWD — known for accepting massive performance gains from minimal tuning.

A C-class darling. Cheap to unlock, ridiculous to tune. The Starlet is the kind of car that makes Forza tuners write essays.

1974 Toyota Corolla SR5 — 40 PTS Spring Season (June 11 – June 18)

A vintage rear-wheel-drive Corolla with almost muscle-car looks. 1.6L inline-4, RWD — the SR5 was Toyota's attempt at reaching new markets in the 1970s.

A lightweight RWD classic that thrives in C class. The final Series 1 unlock and a great closer to the playlist.

Car Pass Cars (4) — Weekly Drops Starting May 19

The Car Pass is included with Forza Horizon 6 Deluxe Edition, Premium Edition, and Premium Upgrade Bundle, or sold separately. Each Car Pass car drops one-by-one weekly — added free to your garage when its release date arrives. No grinding required, just own the Car Pass and they appear.

1990 Nissan #12 Skyline GT-R (BNR32 Gr. A) JTC — Available May 19

The legendary CALSONIC R32 — 29 winning rounds of the Japan Touring Car Championship, four years of dominance. Inline-6 2.5L, Super HICAS four-wheel steering, ATTESA E-TS AWD.

The most historically important JDM race car in Series 1. Available May 19 — Car Pass holders get it day one.

2024 Koenigsegg Gemera — Available May 28

A 4-seat plug-in hybrid hypercar. Three electric motors + 2.0L twin-turbo gas engine. Koenigsegg's first ever AWD + all-wheel-steering car.

The S2-class outlier in Series 1's Car Pass. Built for families who want to do 0-62 in 1.9 seconds together.

1972 Datsun #269 240Z 'All Carbon Hill Climb Beast' — Available June 4

800 horsepower. Under 2,400 lbs. Almost entirely carbon fiber. Front splitter, rear wing, custom everything — built by Attacking the Clock Racing for one purpose: be fastest at the track.

The wildcard of the Car Pass. The hillclimb purpose-build that punishes any street touge run but dominates Time Attack zones.

2008 Honda Civic Type R (FD2) — Available June 11

The JDM-only FD2 Type R. K20A 2.0L engine, 6-speed manual, longer wheelbase + independent rear suspension versus the EP3 predecessor.

The hot hatch closer of Series 1 Car Pass. A Type R with sharp aero, larger brakes, and the front-engine FWD chassis that made Civic Type Rs legendary worldwide.

What's Next — Series 2 (Horizon Decades) Starts June 18

Series 2 drops June 18 with another 10 reward cars including the 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau, 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430, 1988 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 QV, and 1989 Volkswagen Rallye Golf — a decade-themed shift away from JDM-only into European classics.

Car Pass Series 2 adds 2023 Audi R8 Coupé V10 GT RWD, 1974 Mazda #123 Mad Mike 808 Wagon "FURSTY", 1998 Nissan Skyline GT-R 40th Anniversary, and 2023 Toyota GR Corolla. Full Series 2 coverage drops on launch day.
